•    Carbon Black Cloud Windows Sensor: 3.6.0.1897 and Higher
 

Objective

How to Import USB Device Approvals for Device Control

Resolution

1. Authenticate into the CBC Dashboard
2. Expand Inventory 
3. Select USB Devices 
4. Click the Approvals tab
5. If a USB device has not yet been discovered or if a vendor or product-id based approval is required
   1. Click add approval and enter device metadata
6. If the USB device has already been discovered in an environment
