Endpoint Standard: Sensor is not recognized for GlobalProtect security check

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Sensor: 3.7.0.1253
• Operating System: Windows 10 (20H2)
• Palo Alto Global Protect VPN

Symptoms

• Connection to VPN fails
• GlobalProtect shows no Real Time Protection active on Device

Cause

• The VPN has not been configured to recognize the CBC Sensor version as a security / anti-virus program

Resolution

Please contact the Administrator of the GlobalProtect VPN setup to add the CBC Sensor to valid security / anti-virus programs
