Question
What do the different statuses mean for sensors - Active, Inactive, and Pending?
Answer
Status | Description |
---|
All | All sensors in the organization, regardless of status |
Active | Sensors which have checked in within the last 30 days |
Default | Status selected when opening the Endpoints page |
Inactive | Sensors which have not checked in within the last 30 days |
Pending | Devices where an install email was sent to the listed user but sensor has yet to be installed |
Deregistered | Sensors which have been deregistered or uninstalled |
Errors | Sensor is reporting errors, contact support for help |
Eligible for Update | There is a more current version of the sensor available for deployment |
Bypass | Sensors have been put into Bypass mode |
Quarantine | Shows devices that have been put into Quarantine |
To View Status Options
- Go to the Sensor Management/Endpoints page
- Click the Status filter drop-down to the right of the Search bar
- Select a Status to filter the list of devices below to view all devices in that status
