Issue:

Receiving the following error when generating a self-signed cert using the Bit9 Console:

Error generating certificate: Could not create certificate with specific parameters

Symptoms:

Unable to generate a new self signed certificate within the Bit9 console.

Cause:

The absence of the batch script used to generate the self-signed certificate (C:\Program Files (x86)\Bit9\Parity Server\Cert\generate.bat). This script may have unintentionally been deleted or moved by the Bit9 administrator at your organization.
