Health Checks after upgrading to Windows 10

Health Checks after upgrading to Windows 10

Version:

7.2.1 Patch 6 and above

Issue:

Windows 10 Machines seeing similar Health Check alerts.

  • Bit9 Agent detected a problem: Current platform major version (0A000000) does not match build platform (06020000). Options[00000003] TotalFailures[4]
  • Bit9 Agent detected a problem: Incompatible Filter Manager. Options[00000003] TotalFailures[3]
  • Bit9 Agent detected a problem: Bit9 Agent mismatch in struct size. Options[00000003] TotalFailures[1]

Cause:
The OS has been updated to a Windows 10 with that agent still installed. The install package only installs the drivers for the specific build numbers. These error messages are there to let you know the drivers do not match the new OS

Solution:

You will need to uninstall the agent and re-install to get the new package. It is best practice to not upgrade the Operating System with the agent in place as it can cause a failure.
