This document describes how to disable the notifier for a given policy.

Steps
Method 1

  1. On the console menu, choose Rules > Policies. The Policies page appears.
  2. On the Policies page, click the View Details button next to the name of the policy whose notifier you want to disable. The Edit Policy page appears. To disable the notifier for an Advanced Setting, click Show Advanced Settings.

  3. For the setting whose notifier you would like to disable, select <none> from the Notifiers menu. In this example, all Active settings have been modified to disable the notifier.

  4. Click the Save button to preserve your changes. The Policies page appears.
  5. Repeat steps 2-4 for each policy you would like to disable the notifier on.

Method 2

  1. On the console menu, choose Rules > Notifiers. The Notifiers page appears.
  2. On the Notifiers page, click the View Details button next to the name of the notifier you want to disable. The Edit Notifier page appears.

  3. To disable the notifier, change the timeout value to -1 to never display it.

  4. Click the Save button to preserve your changes. The Notifier page appears.
  5. Repeat steps 2-4 for each notifier would like to disable.
