Symptoms
- Receive the following error while using Dragon Speech to dictate into an application: "Encountered an improper argument"; or
- Receive the following error when attempting to load a Dragon Speech profile: "The user profile you have selected cannot be accessed. This could be because you do not have sufficient privileges to use it, or because it is currently being accessed by another program"
Cause
It appears Dragon Speech has strict timeout requirements and any delay may cause the Dragon Speech application to crash.
Solution
Solution varies depending on the version of Dragon Speech software. Please create a case with Bit9 Support and gather agent logs using solution Collecting logs for troubleshooting (Bit9 Agent - Windows OS) so we can configure the solution to fit your environment
