Symptoms
- Sensor uninstalled without de-registration code
- "Require code to uninstall sensor" is enabled in the device policy
- Sensor is deployed using GPO
Cause
UNINSTALL_CODE was included in the MST file
Resolution
- Sensor does not support uninstall using GPO if "Require code to uninstall sensor" is enabled in the policy.
- If .mst is generated to deploy sensor via GPO, do not include UNINSTALL_CODE in the property table
- If "Require code to uninstall sensor" is enabled in the policy, sensor will need to be uninstalled manually or using another supported uninstall method which allows the de-registration code to be entered or the device will need to be moved to a policy which does not have "Require code to uninstall sensor" is enabled in the policy
