Receiving "Arithmetic overflow" error on Windows event and on the Bit9 Reporter log

Version:

7.0.x

Issue/Symptoms:

Receiving this Windows Event error:
"Database task SQL exception: GenerateNextDriftReport - Arithmetic overflow error converting IDENTITY to data type int.
Arithmetic overflow occurred.
Warning: Null value is eliminated by an aggregate or other SET operation."

Receiving this error on the Parity Reporter log:

ERROR DatabaseConnectionWrapper - Database task SQL exception: GenerateNextDriftReport - Arithmetic overflow error converting IDENTITY to data type int.
Arithmetic overflow occurred.
Warning: Null value is eliminated by an aggregate or other SET operation.

Cause:

A Baseline Drift report failed to complete.

Solution:

On the Bit9 console, go to Reports > Baseline Drift.

Select an enabled drift report and set it to disabled. Save the change.

After a few minutes, re-enable the drift report and save the change.

If this does not resolve and stopped the error from occurring, go to https://<your Bit9 server>/support.php, and click on “Snapshot Server Logs”. After a few minutes, click on Available Log Files and save a copy of the server and reporter logs. Please open a case and attach the logs.
