With the Cb Protection Linux Agent installed on the Cb Response Server(s), the following Performance Optimization Rule is required to ensure product interoperability and maximum performance.
Steps
Add the following Performance Optimization Rule for the three process paths:
Rule Name: Ignore Carbon Black server Description: This rule is optimizing the Cb Response server by ignoring the Cb Response directories (Linux) Type: Performance Optimization Platform: Linux Path or file: /var/cb/* Process (specific process): /usr/sbin/nginx, /usr/pgsql*/bin/*, /usr/lib/jvm/*/bin/java Rule Applies To: <Select Policy that your Cb Response servers are in. It is recommended for Your Carbon Black servers to have their own policy> |
Note: Rule will be turned OFF by default.
