Scripts are blocked during VMware SRM failover
Symptoms
Associated with Error - Operations timed out: 1200 Seconds Internal Error
Cause
During the Failover, VMWare tools creates new unsigned scripts that are blocked because they are not approved.
Solution
+Add Custom Rules:
Rule Type: File Creation Control
Write Action: Approve
Path or File:
<windows>\temp\vmware-system\
Process:
<Program Files>\VMware\VMware Tools\vmtoolsd.exe
