Issue
From the Detect -> Threat Intelligence -> Notifications drop downs to enable either "Create an Alert" or "Log to Syslog" notifications, the checkboxes do not stay selected.
Symptoms
When the checkbox(es) have been successfully enabled or disabled, a popup message and notification will be present such as:
"Disabled "Create Alert" for VirusTotal"
When the state does not persist, no popup message will be present.
Solution
Workaround the issue by selecting and deselecting the checkbox until the popup message is observed, which indicates the notification type (Alert or Syslog) will be persistent.
The defect number is CBUI-1437 and fix is included in v5.1.
