Environment

Carbon Black Cloud Workload: All Versions
  • Appliance 1.0.1

Symptoms

  • Appliance upgrade fails
  • Within the appliance UI error ""Last Upgrade is failed: Target Version: X" is shown.
  • cat /var/log/cwp/apw_upgrade_status.json shows status: 
    "EXTRACTING_WRAPPER_BUNDLE_FAILED"

Cause

A .zip extraction failure due to some logic changes in the latest appliance version
