Workload: Appliance shows "Whitelabel Error Page: There was an unexpected error"

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Workload: All Versions

Symptoms

• Workload appliance shows  "Whitelabel Error Page: There was an unexpected error (type=Internal Server Error, status=500). prod.cwp.carbonblack.io"
• Running Command: curl -XGET https://prod.cwp.carbonblack.io shows no connection

Cause

Plugin cloud url (https://prod.cwp.carbonblack.io) is not accessible from appliance

Resolution

• Confirm appliance is up and running
• Update firewall configuration to allow incoming and outgoing traffic with https://prod.cwp.carbonblack.io per firewall configuration guide

Additional Notes

If "curl -XGET https://prod.cwp.carbonblack.io" gives the response "Access Denied", this is our server replying and it is a successful connection
