Question

How do I create the the API key required for Carbon Black Cloud Workload?

Answer

1. Login to the Carbon Black Cloud console
2. Navigate to Settings > API Access > API Keys tab
3. Click Add API Key.
   • Enter a unique name for your appliance API key (such as the name of the appliance within vSphere), then select Custom from the Access level type dropdown.
4. From the Custom access level dropdown, find and select the custom access level that was created for the appliance. See related content.
5. Click Save.
6. The API ID and API secret key is generated.
