<Profile> macro on custom rule is not expanding to the appropriate value during execution

<Profile> macro on custom rule is not expanding to the appropriate value during execution

Version

All.

Issue
<Profile> macro on custom rule is not expanding to the appropriate value during execution.

Symptoms

Custom rule is not applying if the rule is used during log in. The rule only works if used after the user has been logged on for a while.

Cause

<Profile> macro’s value is not immediately available after log in.

Solution

Due to timing, if the <Profile>’s value will be used right at log in, use the actual full path instead of the macro. Only use this <Profile> macro for custom rules that will be used after the user has been logged on to the machine for a while to ensure that the value is available for the macro.
