Hello gorlando and Thank you for your ongoing efforts to keep us informed.

Can you confirm:

1) The current 6.1.6 is the latest, stable Windows sensor and has had no significant issues (or is it an interim release like I've heard)

2) What/when the next Windows sensor release will be (6.1.6-final? 6.1.7?)

Customers are looking for confirmation on what is the safest Windows sensor to use.

Some guidance I've heard indicates that 6.0.3 is the best choice for now.

Thank you!

Good Morningjmcr,

Thank you for reaching out on this. I can confirm that the 6.1.6 Windows sensor is the latest, stable Windows sensor. This sensor release has been generally available for all customers since April 26th and I'm happy to report that we've had no critical issues to date with this sensor since the time of its release.

The next Windows sensor that is planned to be delivered will be the 6.1.7 Windows sensor which is targeted for availability in July 2018. It is always recommended to review and test our latest sensor releases as these will contain the most up to date bug fixes and stability improvements as they are made available. Testing should be done in a lab environment or on a representative subset of computers before deploying it to the entire enterprise to ensure sensor stability meets expectations.

Kind Regards,
