Objective
To locate the CLI Password of a specific Agent in the Console.
Resolution
- Log in to the Console and navigate to Assets > Computers > relevant Computer > Carbon Black App Control Agent tab
- Click the hyperlink, "Click to Show" to reveal the CLI Password of the Agent.
Additional Notes
- Warning: Carbon Black now recommends using the options in Agent Management instead, as per-Agent CLI Passwords are low entropy.
- Per-Agent CLI Passwords, and the ability to view the Password in the Console, must be configured first.
- This feature was disabled by default beginning with the release of both Server and Agent version 8.1.4.
