Objective
Provide steps to uninstall or deregister a sensor via the Console
Resolution
- Log into Carbon Black Cloud Console
- Go to Endpoints page in the Left-Hand Menu
- Search for and select the sensors to uninstall (search terms, filters, etc.)
- Select the Top checkbox next to 'Status' to select all displayed devices, OR select the checkbox to the left of the individual devices on the displayed list
- For devices that need to be uninstalled:
- Click Take Action > Uninstall (You may have to scroll down to see this option)
- Click Uninstall on the prompt to confirm Uninstallation of the selected devices
- Refresh the page to see the current status of the device(s) selected
- Deregister uninstalled devices
- Click Take Action > Delete deregistered assets
- Click Delete to confirm the deletion of assets
- Refresh the page to see the current status of the device(s) selected
Additional Notes
After a sensor is uninstalled, it persists on the Endpoints page until it is deleted (Delete Deregistered Devices)
