Question
Is it possible to move deregistered Sensors from one Policy to the default or any other Policy?
Answer
It is not possible to change the Policy of a Sensor once it has been deregistered, as you will receive the following error...

No valid devices selected to change policy
Additional Notes
- When the need arises to re-install a sensor on the same machine by issuing a re-register command via the console, instead of performing a new install.
- It is best to change the Policy on the Sensor prior to de-registering it via the dashboard
