Q/A

Question 1

Why didn't I receive a notification I created?

Answer

There are many reasons a notification may not have been sent. Please review the troubleshooting steps outlined in Cb Defense: How to Troubleshoot Email Notification Issues before opening a case with Support. Please follow the steps outlined below to review the email notifications that have been sent from the cloud.

Question 2

Why is my notification delayed?

Answer

Before the cloud sends email notifications, it must receive information from the sensor. If a threat is triggered, but a user's machine is turned off or goes offline before the sensor sends that information to the cloud, there could be a delay. The notification email will not go out until after the machine is back online, and the sensor sends that data to the cloud.

Steps from within an Alert
