Cb Protection: How to Replace Server Certificate in Version 6.x

Environment

  • Cb Protection Server: 6.x
  • Microsoft Windows: All Versions

Objective

To replace the Cb Protection Server certificate used for agent communication.

Resolution

  • If self-signed certificate is used, automatically create a new self-signed certificate with new expiration date.
On the Cb Protection console:
  1. ​Go to System Configuration
  2. Click on Secure Communication
  3. Click Edit
  4. Click Generate
  • If using a CA issued certificate, obtain a new unexpired certificate and apply it in the Cb Protection Console
