Issue

When uninstalling using the following command:

[root@localhost bin]# ./b9uninstall.sh

The following error is seen:

DataDir = /srv/bit9

DestinationDir = /opt/bit9/bin

Error!!! Uninstall not allowed.  Please configure permissions for uninstall.

Cause
The machine has not been moved in to a policy that allows uninstall.


Solution

Move the computer into an "agent disabled" policy.
