Resolution
Upgrade to agent version 8.7.4+ where this has been corrected.
Additional Notes
There were three separate issues that were corrected:
- EP-14965
- Fixed an issue that caused a race condition and could cause the parity service to crash in some situations during user login
- EP-14938
- Fixed an issue where the agent can potentially corrupt memory and crash when collecting metadata from an MSI file
- EP-15312
- Fixed an issues where a service crash can occur when querying system information
