Symptoms
When viewing an asset the ip address displays the IPv6 loopback address
Cause
- The App Control Agent or asset is installed on the App Control Server
- IPv6 is disabled in the environment
Resolution
Create the following registry key on App Control Server that has the App Control Agent installed
Path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip6\Parameters\
Key Name and Type:
"DisabledComponents" and REG_DWORD
Value:
0xff
