App Control Console: Chattiest rules report for longer time frames show empty results

Environment

• App Control Console : All versions

Symptoms

• Chattiest rules report for longer time frames (1 day / 3 days) show empty results 
• Chattiest rules report for shorter time frames (6 hours / 12 hours) works as expected

Cause

Not known at this time

Resolution

Please create a support case with Carbon Black along with high debug server logs for further investigation as follows :

1. Log in to the App Control Console
2. Browse to https://<server name>/support.php and go to the Diagnostics tab
3. Under "Server Logging" set logging duration to 30 minutes (8.1.8 or 8.1.10 check additional notes)
4. Set all debug levels to "High" and check the box for SQL Trace
5. Click Start logging
6. Reproduce the issue (load chattiest rules report for 1Day/3day/12hours/6hours and note the timestamp for each run)
7. Browse back to https://<server name>/support.php
8. Click on “Available log files" from the right hand side 'Related Views' menu link
9. Save a copy of all log files generated during the testing
10. Upload all collected data to https://community.carbonblack.com/t5/CB-Vault/gp-p/g-4922

Additional Notes

If Console version is 8.1.8 or 8.1.10 please set the logging duration to "Permanent" and manually stop it after reproducing the issue
