App Control: Home Page or Dashboard Page Unavailable With FIPS Enabled

Environment

• App Control Console: All Supported Versions

Symptoms

• Home Page or Dashboard pages unavailable
• URL redirects back and forth flipping between Home.php and dashboard
• FIPS Enabled
• 401 Errors in PHPErrors log

Cause

.Net is below version 4.6.2 which does not fully support FIPS

Resolution

Upgrade .Net to 4.6.2 or Higher:

Alternatively, disable FIPS:

1. Open Local Security Policy
2. Navigate to Local Policies > Security Options 
3. Edit "System Cryptography: Use FIPS compliant algorithms for encryption, hashing and signing"
4. Set flag to disabled
