How to set the IIS identity for the DefaultAppPool
Resolution
- On the server open the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager console.
- Navigate in the left hand window to your server > Application Pools.
- Select the DefaultAppPool.
- In the right hand menu, select Advanced Settings.
- Within the Advanced Settings window, modify the Identity account by placing the new user, or password combination.
