App Control: Linked Rules Become Unlinked

Environment

  • App Control Unified Management Server: All Supported Versions

Symptoms

  • Linked Rules From Unified Management Server Become Unlinked
  • Rules that were highlighted green are no longer highlighted

Cause

This can happen if the connection between servers was forcefully broken

Resolution

Gracefully shutdown servers during maintenance
