Question
Can GPO Software Installation deploy the Sensor without Reboot?
Answer
- No this is not possible using GPO Software Installation. This is a limitation of Microsoft.
- As a workaround it may be possible to create a custom script which is configured to install the sensor and deploy it via GPO Scheduled Task
Additional Notes
- At this time Carbon Black does not provide a custom script which has been tested and qualified for use in deploying PSC sensors using GPO scheduled task
- Any custom scripts created for this purpose will need to be supported and maintained by the script creator.
