CB Protection: How to Clear PAN Wildfire Queue

CB Protection: How to Clear PAN Wildfire Queue

Environment

  • CB Protection Server: All Supported Versions
  • Palo Alto Wildfire

Objective

How to clear backlogged Wildfire queues.

Resolution

  1. Navigate in the CB Protection Console to Rules > Event Rules.
  2. Click edit on the event rule that was created for the Wildfire analysis.
  3. On the right hand panel, select "Cancel all file analysis submissions created by this rule" to clear anything actively pending.
  4. On the right hand panel, select Clear Processed Events if you want to clear all the items, and start clean.

Additional Notes

The above steps do not clear items that have already sent to the Wildfire, but have not received results. These will need to finish their analysis before being able to be cleared.
