Question

What does the setting "Certificate Verification" mean under the System Configuration > Security tab in the CB Protection Console?

Answer

Enabling certificate verification instructs all CB Protection Agents to verify the authenticity of the CB Protection Server certificate against a Certificate Authority or their Root certificates.

Additional Notes

• Certificate Verification is not recommended for self signed certificates as it may cause all agents to disconnect.
