Why am I getting "API token invalid" while trying to connect to the server via the API?

Answer

The API token being used has been changed or is wrong, so to correct this:
  1. Log in to the WebUI as the user
  2. Go to Users "My Profile" in top right hand corner
  3. Click on 'API Token' tab
  4. Generate a new API token
