Environment

  • Carbon Black Cloud: All Supported Versions

Question

Will the Host Base Firewall Feature affect Windows Firewall?

Answer

  • The HBFW feature will take over for Windows Firewall only if enabled
  • If not enabled it will have no affect on the Windows Firewall
  • If enabled then Windows Firewall should show "These settings are being managed by vendor application Carbon Black Firewall" message
