  • Carbon Black Cloud Linux Sensor: All Versions
    • Audit & Remediation (was CB LiveOps)
    • Endpoint Standard (was CB Defense)
    • Enterprise EDR (was CB ThreatHunter)
  • Linux: All Supported Versions

Question

If a Linux endpoint is provisioned with too few CPU cores to meet minimum requirements, does the Sensor need to be uninstalled prior to adding additional core(s) and then reinstalled?

Answer

No. The Sensor can remain in place as the machine is brought into a supported configuration in relation to CPU cores.
