Carbon Black Cloud: Linux sensors moved from Standard policy do not reflect change on Endpoints page

Environment

  • Carbon Black Cloud Console: Current (formerly CB PSC)
  • Carbon Black Cloud Sensor: 2.8
  • RHEL: All supported versions
  • CentOS: All supported versions

Symptoms

  • Sensors moved from the Standard policy still show Standard on the Endpoints page
  • Sensor information on events will show the new policy
  • Local sensor settings show that it is using the new policy

Cause

Unknown at this time

Resolution

  • The back-end issue appears to have been resolve
  • If sensors have not updated to the new policy, perform another move for changes to take effect

The issue appears to be cosmetic only. Sensors should still function with the behaviors outlined in the policy moved to
