Symptoms
User Account without ROLE cannot be removed in the Carbon Black Cloud Console.
Cause
A User account without ROLE will not be allowed to remove due to the lack of proper backend logic.
Resolution
- Assign a ROLE to this User account first, for example "View All";
- Make sure the current log on as "System Admin", "Super Admin", "Live Response Admin - Legacy" or "Admin - Legacy", and confirm it is higher than the ROLE of User account to be removed;
- Once ROLE is assigned to the User account, click on "X" (Delete) button to remove it.
