This document describes how to find all sensors installed on an unsupported Operating System (OS) for the purpose of updating them to a sensor version which does support that OS.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings > Enrollment
  2. Set the Policy filter to All and the Status filter to All
  3. Use the following query to find all sensors currently installed on an unsupported OS

sensorStates:UNSUPPORTED_OS

Important Note(s)

This is primarily for Mac sensors, as Windows sensors will exit if the installation is being attempted on an unsupported OS.
