Cb Defense: How to Access Sensor Installation Files on a Mac?

Environment

  • Cb Defense Sensor: All Versions
  • Apple macOS: All Supported Versions

Objective

Access Cb Defense Sensor installation assets, such as Installation and Sensor logs, on a Mac


Resolution

  1. Navigate to the /Applications/Confer.app directory
  2. Right click or Control-Click the Confer.app file
  3. Select "Show Package Contents" from the Shortcut Menu
  4. The view in Finder will now show the contents of the Confer.app directory, which includes the Sensor installation log files and other Sensor logs

Additional Notes

  • Some Sensor logs and files are located in hidden directories, such as the /tmp directory
  • Enable viewing of idden files and folders in macOS 10.13 and later with a keyboard shortcut
    CMD+Shift+Period
