Symptoms
- When creating a new alert in the Cb Protection console, the following error is shown at the top of the alert page
- An alert of the same type with the same criteria already exists. Please configure a unique alert.
Cause
Cb Protection does not allow for creating alerts with the same criteria, even if those alerts are applied to different policies.
Resolution
- If at all possible, add the existing alert to any additional policies that you need to apply it to.
- Otherwise, modify the alert slightly where possible to avoid it being a "duplicate"
