EDR: Restore Connectivity to an Isolated Endpoint locally using the CbEDRCLI tool

Environment

  • EDR Server: All supported versions
  • EDR Sensor: 7.4.1 and higher
  • Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions

Objective

To restore connectivity to an isolated windows endpoint locally using the CbEDRCLI tool

Resolution

To disable network isolation use the following steps:
  • Open command prompt as Administrator and navigate to C:\Windows\CarbonBlack
  • Run CbEDRCLI.exe -isolation <cli_password>

Additional Notes

The password can be obtained from the "Advanced" section of the sensor group settings.
