EDR: What Are The Minimum Requirements Needed To Utilize EDR Tamper Protection?

Environment

  • EDR Server: 7.4.0 and Higher
  • EDR Sensor: 7.2.0 and Higher
  • Microsoft Windows: Server 2016 v1709 or higher
  • Microsoft Windows: Windows 10 v1703 or higher

Question

What are the versions needed to utilize EDR Tamper Protection?

Answer

EDR Tamper Protection requires the following:
  1. EDR Server 7.4.0 or Higher
  2. EDR Sensor 7.2.0 or Higher
  3. Microsoft Windows 10 v1703 (Desktop) + or Microsoft Windows Server 2016 v1709 +

Additional Notes

  • Sensors that do not match these minimum requirements when set to Tamper Protection, will automatically be moved to Tamper Detection instead.
