Endpoint Standard: Chaos Cloud VLR service fails to start

Environment

• Endpoint Standard Sensor: 3.5.0.1756 and 1786
• Chaos Cloud

Symptoms

Chaos Cloud VLR service fails to start on boot, service will start when sensor is in bypass.

Cause

The loading of the sensor service is preventing the Chaos Cloud VLR service to load.

Resolution

Create an API Bypass Permission rule for "C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\VRLService\OLS\*" in the relevant policy for the sensors where the service is installed.
