This document describes how to require a user to enter Justification message on the Notifier window prior to clicking Allow or Block.

Steps:

1.     On the Bit9 console, go to Rules > Notifiers

2.   Click the View Details button

3.    Set the "Approval Request" drop-down menu to either "Justification" or "Approval Request and Justification"

4.    On the "Notifier Text", add one or both of the following:

       a.  <NotifierRequireSubmitOnAllow>

            i.  If this is present, the Allow or Approve button on the Notifier window will be grayed out until the user provides a Justification text

       b.  <NotifierRequireSubmitOnBlock>

            i. If this is present, the Block button on the Notifier window will be grayed out until the user provides a Justification text
