Issue:
VDI machines are not showing the Bit9 notifier window when a file is blocked
Symptoms:
The Bit9 notifier window is not launching and there's a block for ipworks8.dll file
Cause:
Tamper protection block on ipworks8.dll file
Solution:
Create a custom rule. Adjust the path according to where the Bit9 agent is installed and the machine's platform (32 or 64 bit).

Execute Action: Allow
Path or FIle: *\program files\bit9\parity agent\ipworks8.dll
Process: *\program files\bit9\parity agent\notifier.exe
