Question 1

What is the maximum load a customer can place on CFS Web Services?

Answer 1

CFS Web services are scaled and redundant to handle several thousand queries per second.

For example we have handled well over a couple of million queries with moderate utilization and headroom to spare.

Question 2
What is the amount of queries allowed by CFS Web Services?

Answer 2

The typical limit is 50,000 hash-based queries per day per named user are allowed but may vary.

The CFS web service is monitored to manage the amount of queries and any abuse of the service will impact existing agreements.

Currently there is no “carry-over” policy if 50,000 queries are not performed in a day.
