Objective
How to create a custom Alert in App Control.
Resolution
- From the Console, navigate to Tools > Alerts > Add Alert.
- Select the desired Alert Type.
- Complete the form buy filling out the General, Criteria, Reminder Mail, and Auto Reset fields.
- When finished, click Create or Create & Exit.
Additional Notes
- An Alert must first be created before Subscribers can be specified.
- Once an Alert is Enabled, it begins monitoring and will trigger when conditions match the configured Criteria.
- For a detailed description of each Alert setting, see Alert Fields from the User Guide.
- Use of special characters or matching characters for regular expressions could have unexpected results and should be avoided where possible.
