Symptoms

General: The install of application Cb Defense Sensor 64-bit from policy %your policy name% failed. The error was: %%1612
Cause
1. The path to installation file has a blank space for example (note the space between CBD and installer):
\\NetworkServer\FileShare\CBD installer.exe
2. File permissions for the file, the folder or the entirety of the folder path are not set correctly.
Resolution
1. Remove any blank spaces in the path to the installer as when the path is passed via the command line portions after the space will be dropped.
2. Depending on how the package was published [user / computer] the appropriate accounts will need at least read access. Verify the permissions for the entirety of the path to the installer.
