Carbon Black Endpoint Standard: All Versions
Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions

Question

Is sensor policy "Permissions" file path case-sensitive?

Answer

No, "Permissions" file path is not case-sensitive, because Windows OS doesn't care if file paths are upper case or lower case.

Additional Notes

  • For MacOS, the operating system determines that the 'Permissions' file path IS case sensitive
  • For LinuxOS, Permissions Rules are not applicable at all
