Environment

  • Endpoint Standard Sensor: All Supported Versions

Question

 Does the USB Device Control also apply to Internal SD card slots ?

Answer

No, SD cards connected to internal SD card readers are seen as fixed drives due to the hardware that reads the SD card as internal

Additional Notes

If the SD card reader is external USB based then it will be treated as USB devices and it may apply the device control policy
